PRESTON — Sealed bids for Community Park improvements are due at 10 a.m. October 21 at the First Selectwoman’s Office, Town Hall, 389 Route 2, according to the town’s official invitation.
The design-build project had a mandatory site walk October 7 at 9 a.m. at the park, 13 Route 117. The notice says contractors who did not attend and sign in are ineligible to bid.
Questions must be submitted in writing to Parks, Recreation and Youth Services Director Mark Simmons at least five business days before the bid deadline. The town will issue applicable clarifications through written addenda.
Bidders must check the official bid-opportunities page for addenda and use the complete town documents. The invitation requires bid security and performance and payment bonds.
The solicitation does not establish an awarded contractor, final price or completed improvements.
