PUTNAM — Gas service resumed October 13 at Sam’s Food Stores Sunoco, 303 Kennedy Drive, according to a same-day report from the WINY Radio newsroom.
WINY reported that the station has new fuel pumps and a new canopy. The parking lot has also been paved and striped, and the adjacent Bakers Dozen drive-through has been repaved and marked.
The reopening restores access to the station’s pumps following the work. WINY’s post said they had opened about an hour before its report; an exact reopening time, construction cost and duration of the closure were not provided.
