SOMERS — The town’s registrar page lists in-person early voting October 19 through November 1 ahead of the November 3 gubernatorial election.
Ordinary early-voting hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours October 27 and 29.
The same page invites residents to work at the polls. Workers help set up and close polling places, explain procedures and protect ballots and equipment.
Eligible adults must be registered Connecticut voters; some roles are available to resident U.S. citizens aged 16 or 17 with parental permission. Candidate and family restrictions apply, and mandatory training is required.
Residents can contact the registrars at 860-763-8211 or Somers.Registrar@gmail.com. The page does not establish a particular applicant’s eligibility or promise a position.
