Stonington residents can comment on capital funding requests at an October 15 hearing scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Police Department Community Room, 173 South Broad Street in Pawcatuck, according to Patch’s account of the town agenda.
The hearing concerns the Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal 2027–28. The process covers major equipment and vehicles, infrastructure and facilities costing more than $10,000, property acquisitions and projects requiring borrowing.
Officials are expected to explain how requests are considered before residents offer feedback. The scheduled hearing does not mean that individual projects or borrowing have already been approved.
Residents should consult the town’s current agenda for the project list and participation details. This report is based on the October 11 Patch notice; it does not report a hearing outcome.
